Martin is currently overlooking the Portfolio Management for Nokia Enterprise. In this role he is leveraging the Nokia end-to-end portfolio into vertical markets, particularly Transportation, Energy & Utilities, Public Sector and Industrial (manufacturing and logistics) addressing the increasing demand for digitization and industry 4.0 value propositions. Before overlooking the full enterprise business Martin was in charge of the Nokia Automotive business, focusing on connected car use cases (like Cellular V2X) for traffic safety and automated driving in co-operation with major Car OEMs. Previous to this Martin had several senior management roles in Strategy, Portfolio Management and Transformation in Nokia, including a long track record in leveraging cellular technologies into vertical markets. Additionally this position he was in charge of developing a portfolio of channel partners to extend Nokia Networks accessible market from mobile operator business to adjacent markets like enterprise, public safety, utilities etc. Before this, Martin held several senior management roles in Nokia Networks Portfolio Management, Product Management, Outsourcing Management and R&D Program Management. Additionally he has worked in marketing and sales, serving several pan-European Fixed-Broadband customers as Technical Sales Manager. Martin holds a degree in Mathematical Physics from the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster in Germany
