Educational Connectivity

One university which is making sure that its network meets students’ and staff’s broadband demands is FUAA university in Bogotá, Colombia.

The university has deployed RADWIN 2000 D+ point to point wireless systems to upgrade its MPLS network. With mega-capacity of up to 750 Mbps, RADWIN’s systems deliver high-speed uplink and downlink speeds to support web browsing, database replication, VoIP and video conferencing applications.

Jose Guevara Baquero, IT Manager, FUAA: “RADWIN 2000 D+ Point-to-Point radios deliver unmatched throughput of up to 750 Mbps and operate in harsh interference conditions.”

WiCom Networks, a leading turnkey system integrator in Colombia, was in charge of project design and implementation in the project.
